Antón Makarenko (Ucrania, 1888-1939) fue un pedagogo y escritor soviético que organizó una colonia educacional para menores huerfanos, vagabundos o que habían delinquido en los años de la guerra civil post Revolución, a los que educó y -según cuenta- se transformaron en hombres firmes y volcados a su época.
